RADFORD ROUNDS OUT REGULAR SEASON WITH HOME SERIES VS. NATIONALLY-RANKED LIBERTY

Four Radford (30-20, 15-9) seniors, Alexander Lee, James Woods, Blake Sipe, and Tyler Costello, will take the field for the final time at RU Baseball Stadium this weekend as the Highlanders play host to No. 21 Liberty (38-12, 22-1) on Friday and Saturday. Friday's doubleheader is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., and Saturday's finale, which is Senior Day, is slated for 2:00.

Radford has won 11 of its last 14 games and remains alive for the No. 3 seed in next week's Big South Tournament in Rock Hill, S.C. In order to finish as the third seed, the Highlanders will have gain two full games against Campbell in the standings over the weekend. The Camels play Coastal Carolina in a three-game set.

Rain forced the Highlanders and the Flames to play a doubleheader Friday after Thursday's game was postponed.

Liberty comes into the series riding a 20-game conference winning streak. The Flames have wrapped up the Big South regular season title and are currently ranked as high as 21st in the nation by Baseball America.
