BETTS TAKES SECOND AT HOKIE TWILIGHT



BLACKSBURG, Va. – Coming off a win at the Cardinal Twilight Friday evening, Radford sprinter Joseph Betts claimed runner-up honors in the men's 400 meters Sunday evening at the Hokie Twilight hosted by Virginia Tech at Johnson-Miller Track Complex.
 
Betts clocked a 47.69 to earn his second-place showing. Although Betts failed to advance to the NCAA East Regional, teammate Vincent Wyatt will represent the Highlanders in Jacksonville, Fla., May 29-31. The junior, who enters as the No. 4 seed, will compete in the men's 110-meter hurdles.
