HIGHLANDERS BACK ON THE ROAD WEDNESDAY IN BIG SOUTH PLAY AT ASHEVILLE

Radford (4-2-2, 1-0-0) travels Wednesday to UNC Asheville (1-4-1, 0-1-0) for its first Big South road test of the season against the Bulldogs. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. in Asheville, N.C. with the game scheduled to be carried live on the Big South Network.

9387"Mid-week road games are always harder to quality preparation done," Radford head coach Marc Reeves said. "However, I believe this group has the focus and understands the challenges of this game. We expect a tough conference game where we will need to compete first and then have quality in the final third again.

THE HIGHLANDERS
The Highlanders are coming off a resounding 6-1 win over Presbyterian to open conference play Saturday at Cupp Stadium. In that game, Kieran Roberts scored his first career hat trick and his second game-winning goal in as many games to earn Big South Attacking Player of the Week. Chel Ho Park Kim moved into sixth place on the Radford all-time list in assist with the 16th of his career. Ryan Albiston tallied his first career points with a goal and an assist, and the RU defense maintained its stronghold on the league's best goals against average, now at 0.82. Aitor Pouseu Blanco leads the Big South in goals against average (0.82), save percentage (.767), and shutouts (3).

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
UNC Asheville has dropped four straight games, indlucing its conference opener at High Point, 3-0. Asheville is 1-1-1 in home games this season tying USC Upstate and defeating Brevard. Jackson Allen leads the team with three goals, and Dan Jackson has played every minute in goal for the Bulldogs.
