- Nick Brediger and Gareth Sargent are both inside the Top-25 of the individual leaderboard in leading the Radford men's golf team during Monday's 36 holes of the Elon Intercollegiate at Alamance Country Club in Burlington, N.C.
- Brediger logged a team-best six birdies en route to a 145 (69-76), which is tied for 12th.
- Five of his six birdies came in the first round, where he notched his third sub-par round of the season.
- Sargent ended his day by charting birdies on two of his final three holes to bring home a 147 (75-72), which is tied for 23rd.
- The sophomore chalked up an eagle at the par-5 sixth hole in the first round. He was one of 17 golfers to make an eagle during the opening 36 holes of competition.
- Radford is in seventh place behind its aggregate 592 (297-295).
- East Carolina's 564 (279-285) has the Pirates leading the team race by 11 shots over Elon.
- The Pirates' success was only helped by individual leader Jacob Hicks, who fired a 6-under-par 136 (70-66) to earn a two-shot edge over Jonathan Dilanni of Elon and Adam Ball of VCU.
