KEY STORYLINES

The Radford men's golf team moved up two positions to place fifth following Tuesday's final round of the Elon Intercollegiate at Alamance Country Club in Burlington, N.C.
RU improved each round en route to an 885 (297-295-293).
Conner Hayden fueled the Highlanders' surge in the final round, carding six birdies on the day, including three in a row on holes 10-12.
Hayden's 2-under-par 69 was his third sub-par round of the season.
Radford tallied 13 birdies and one eagle over its final 18 holes.
Gareth Sargent charted an eagle for the second straight day, carding a three at the par-5 17^th.
His two eagles were tied for the most recorded by a golfer in the field.
East Carolina ran away with the team title, scoring an 833 (279-285-269) to chalk up a 23-shot victory over Charleston Southern.
VCU's Adam Ball, the 76^th-ranked golfer in the nation according to Golfstat, fired a 5-under-par 66 Tuesday to edge Jacob Hicks of East Carolina by one stroke. Ball shot a 9-under-par 204 for his 54 holes.
