WOMEN’S SOCCER HOSTS WINTHROP FOR SENIOR NIGHT SATURDAY

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's soccer team closes out the season on Saturday night as the Highlanders host Winthrop for a 6 p.m. match at Cupp Stadium.

Prior to kickoff, the program will honors its eight graduating seniors as they play their final game.

With Jordan Lundin scoring her second goal of the season on Wednesday, nine different Highlanders have now tallied multiple goals. The sophomore is tied for second on the team in points with Jessica Wollman and Hannah Duff, one behind Ana Revollo. Four freshmen are among the top six in RU's scoring. As a team in conference play, Radford ranks third in the Big South in shots per game, tied for sixth in points and tied for seventh in goals.

Scouting Winthrop: The Eagles (5-8-2, 2-5-1) have lost four of their last five matches, including a 3-0 shutout at the hands of Liberty on Wednesday… Winthrop's conference wins came over Gardner-Webb (2-1) and Campbell (1-0)… The Eagles have scored just 13 goals on the season, while allowing 23… Senior Megan David leads the team with three goals and six points… Juniors Caroline Duncan and Karly Gustafson have split the goalkeeping work, each logging at least 650 minutes in the net.

Series History: Radford holds a 7-5-2 edge in the all-time series and is 4-2 against the Eagles at Cupp… Winthrop won last year's meeting 1-0 as David scored in the 75th minute.
