  • Janayla White ranks 10th in the Big South in scoring at 13.5 ppg.
  • Aisha Foy is right behind with her 13 ppg. She is coming off a season-high 15-point performance at NC State, Tuesday night.

  • Lydia Rivers ranks fifth among Big South players in rebounding (8.5 rpg) and first in defensive boards (8.5).
  • Jayda Worthy leads the league in field goal percentage (.750).

SCOUTING YOUNGSTOWN STATE
  • Record: 2-0
  • The Penguins enter Friday's game with a 2-0 record following wins over Canisius (53-51) and Niagara (71-54).
  • Youngstown State overcame a 22-point deficit in its season opener against Canisius at home.
  • Three-point shooting is a strength of the Penguins, who drilled 10 in their win over Niagara. They made nine in their 70-44 win at Radford last season.
  • YSU averages 6.5 made 3-pointers per game.
  • The Penguins return three starters and eight letterwinners from the 2014-15 campaign that saw them earn a WNIT at-large bid after winning 21 games.
  • YSU has won at least 21 games in two of the last three seasons.
  • Only eight Penguins have scored this season. Of those eight, four average at least 9.5 ppg.
  • Sarah Cash leads YSU in scoring (13.5 ppg) and rebounding (8.5 rpg).
  • Indiya Benjamin also averages double-figure scoring for the Penguins at 11 ppg.
  • YSU is 1-2 all-time against Big South teams, losing to High Point in 2009 and Winthrop in 2010.
  • The Penguins will be looking to improve to 3-0 for the third time in the last four years.

UP NEXT
  • Radford enjoys an eight-day break between games, as the Highlanders do not play again until Nov. 28 vs. Lees-McRae.
