Radford remains on the road in Big South play beginning Thursday evening at Gardner-Webb. The weekend series is moved up a day in conference play to honor the Easter holiday on Sunday. RU enters the three-game set with the Runnin' Bulldogs having won five straight games and owning a share of the league lead with Coastal Carolina at 5-1. GWU will host the Big South Tournament in May at John Henry Moss Stadium.

SCOUTING THE RUNNIN' BULLDOGS
After dropping its season opener to James Madison, Gardner-Webb won its next 10 games and had one of the hottest starts to the 2015 season in the nation. As a team, GWU hits .252 and owns a 3.97 ERA. Sam Fulginiti leads the team with a .333 batting average and a .483 slugging percentage. The Runnin' Bulldogs dropped a Big South home series last weekend to UNC Asheville after winning the opening game of the series. A 17-9 win at North Carolina A&T on Tuesday stopped a two-game losing streak.

THE HIGHLANDERS
Radford has won five straight games, including a three-game Big South road sweep over Campbell last weekend. The Highlanders won for the first time in program history over William & Mary with a Tuesday night 4-1 win at RU Baseball Stadium. Josh Gardiner leads the team with a .369 batting average. Patrick Marshall has belted five home runs and driven in 29 to lead the Highlanders. Pitching has been the difference for RU in the winning streak. The Highlanders have lowered their team ERA to 3.97.
