Radford travels Monday to Virginia Tech to face the Hokies in a game rescheduled from an earlier game that was postponed due to weather. The Highlanders have won eight straight games and are atop the Big South standings. The Hokies won an earlier matchup between the two teams a couple weeks ago. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

SCOUTING THE HOKIES
Virginia Tech dropped two of three games to Georgia Tech over the weekend, including a 7-6 loss to the Yellow Jackets on Sunday. Monday's game will be the fifth straight at home for the Hokies. Tech is 9-6 at English Field this season. Alex Perez leads the team with a .356 batting average.

THE HIGHLANDERS

Radford completed its back-to-back Big South road sweeps with a 3-2 victory at Gardner-Webb on Saturday. The Highlanders have equalled the school record for consecutive wins with eight. RU is 3-3 in midweek games this season, including back-to-back midweek wins over East Tennessee State and William & Mary. Josh Gardiner leads the Highlanders with a .365 batting average.
