NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Radford's record-setting season is on the line Saturday when the Highlanders face Lipscomb in an elimination contest at the Nashville Regional. The Bisons fell Friday night 9-1 to host Vanderbilt, while RU dropped its NCAA opener earlier that afternoon to Indiana, 7-1. First pitch at Hawkins Field is set for 3:00 p.m (CT). This will be the first meeting all-time between the two schools.

SCOUTING THE BISONS
Lipscomb won the Atlantic Sun Tournament after finishing second in the regular season behind North Florida, is looking for its 40th win on the season. Puckett is a freshman who stands 6-8 and 220 pounds and will take the hill for his first NCAA appearance for the Bisons. He defeated Vanderbilt earlier in the season earning a 3-1 victory over the Commodores. Lipscomb is making its second NCAA Regional appearance. In 2008, the Bisons knocked off host Georgia as a No. 4 seed before falling in the next two games against Georgia Tech and playing Georgia a second time.

THE HIGHLANDERS
Ridgely, who owns victories this season over West Virginia, Virginia Tech, and William & Mary, will make the start on the mound for the Highlanders.
