NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Radford faces Vanderbilt in the Nashville Regional finals Monday and will need to defeat the Commodores twice to advance to next week's Super Regional round of the NCAA Tournament. VU is the defending national champion and still undefeated in regional play having beaten Lipscomb and Indiana. RU lost its opener to Indiana, but battled back to the final with wins over Lipscomb and the Hoosiers.

SCOUTING THE COMMODORES
The hosts of the Nashville Regional, the Commodores are ranked as high as No. 5 in the national polls. Shortstop Dansby Swanson, who is projected as the possible top pick in the MLB Draft later this month, leads Vandy with a .350 batting average, 14 home runs, 6 triples, 21 doubles, and 60 RBI. Vanderbilt has three players who have hit double digit home runs this season (Rhett Wiseman - 13 HR, 42 RBI; Zander Wiel - 12 HR 58 RBI). The Commodores are 26-8 this season at Hawkins Field.

THE HIGHLANDERS
MacKeith will get the start in the first game for the Highlanders. He is 3-1 in his last six starts and owns wins this season over NCAA Tournament qualifiers in Coastal Carolina and College of Charleston.
