HOW IT HAPPENED

- Daehlie found the back of the net for the third time this season when Fraser Colmer connected with the freshman on a corner kick in the 34th minute.

QUOTABLE
- "This was a tight game against a very good Marshall team. We had to be a little conservative in the first half, but I think we had some great chances to extend the lead in the second half that we were unlucky not to see go in. We had strong performances from many players and getting a shutout against a team of this level is great. We now move into conference play where every game is vital to prepare correctly and be ready to perform at max levels." ~ Radford head coach, Marc Reeves
UP NEXT
- Radford travels to Clinton, S.C., for Saturday's Big South opener at Presbyterian.
- Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. from Edens Field at Martin Stadium.
