HOW IT HAPPENED

Freshman Finn Tiedemann netted his second goal of the season in the 60^th minute to help Radford draw level with East Tennessee State in non-conference men's soccer action Saturday night at Cupp Stadium.
The play began on the right wing when Bismark Amofah got around his defender and sent a cross into the box where Evan Szklennik collected the ball and found Tiedemann open for the score.
ETSU struck first when Luke Parker headed home a cross from the right wing by Joao Ramalho in the 58^th minute.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

The Highlanders are unbeaten through their first three matches for the first time since 2012.
Evan Szklennik, Jakob Strandsäter and Finn Tiedemann all had four shots for the Highlanders.
Aitor Pouseu Blanco recorded four saves, including two back-to-back late in the first half.
RU outshot the Buccaneers, 22-16.
Radford is 7-4-17 in overtime games under head coach Marc Reeves.
The Highlanders and ETSU have gone to double overtime in three of the previous four matchups. RU is 0-1-2 in those three double overtime encounters.
