HOW IT HAPPENED

Senior point guard Aisha Foy dialed up 21 points to lift Radford to a 64-53 victory over Presbyterian in Big South women's basketball action Monday night at the Templeton Center in Clinton, S.C.
Led by Foy's third 20-point performance of the season, the Highlanders were able to notch their first road win since Feb. 14, 2015.
Radford outscored PC, 21-9, in the decisive third quarter to build a 10-point advantage (46-36) heading into the final quarter. Six of the Blue Hose's nine points were scored at the charity stripe during the third frame.
The Highlanders' lead never dipped below nine points in the final frame.
Destinee Walker drilled a 3-pointer from the right wing for her first collegiate points, which pushed RU in front, 19-17, after the first quarter.
PC regained the lead at halftime after a foul was called on Radford with 0.2 of a second left on the clock. Aianna Kelly stepped to the line and converted the pair of free throws to put the Blue Hose on top, 27-25, at intermission.

In addition to Foy, Janayla White (12) and Gaby Gilmore (11) also reached double-figure scoring.
Radford, which handed PC just its second loss at home this season, was stellar defensively yet again. The Highlanders recorded a season-high-tying 10 blocks, while holding the Blue Hose to just 15 of 47 from the floor.
After only scoring six points in the second quarter, RU netted at least 18 points in the other three stanzas.
Presbyterian's 27-25 halftime lead was in large part due to a 13-0 advantage in points off turnovers.
The Highlanders outrebounded their 11^th opponent of the season, claiming a 37-30 favor on the boards. That margin led to an 18-9 difference in second-chance points.
Radford shot 44.7 percent from the floor (21-47), which included a 41.7 percent clip (5-12) from long range. Foy made three of those.
On the other hand, PC was limited to 31.9 percent shooting (15-47), despite hitting 7 of 16 (43.8 percent) from downtown.
Reigning Big South Freshman of the Week Taylor Petty led the Blue Hose with 18 points—15 of those came in the second half.
The win marked Radford's third straight win over Presbyterian as the Highlanders lead the all-time series, 15-4.
