HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS

With a 64-53 win over Presbyterian on Monday, Radford notched its first road win since Feb. 14, 2015.
In the win, Aisha Foy dialed up her third 20-point performance of the season, finishing with a game-high 21 points.
Foy now ranks sixth in Big South scoring, averaging 13.5 ppg, totaling 176 points on the season.
Joining Foy in double figures, Janayla White averages 10.6 ppg, ranking 18^th in the league. White has put up double figures in seven contests on the year.
Radford leads the Big South in field-goal percentage (43.3) and stands in second place in 3-point field-goal percentage (32.9).
The Highlanders have shot over 44 percent from the field in four of their last six contests.
On the other side of the ball, RU owns the league's best defense, allowing only 56.5 ppg.
Opponents have struggled to find their touch against the sturdy Highlander defense, managing only a 34.2 field-goal percentage, ranking 19^th nationally.
After swatting a season-high-tying 10 blocks in Monday's win, Radford leads the conference in total blocks (71) and blocks per game (5.5)
In the win over PC, Radford outrebounded its 11^th opponent on the season. The Highlanders hold a 526-329 rebound advantage over their opposition.
Since being inserted into the starting lineup on Dec. 21, Lydia Rivers has grabbed 41 of her 106 rebounds. Rivers ranks 13^th nationally among freshmen with 8.2 rpg.
In the Dedmon Center, the Highlanders are lighting up the scoreboard for 70.8 ppg. Opponents are only averaging 50.0 ppg in the NRV.

SCOUTING WINTHROP

Record: 2-11, 1-3 Big South
A 19-9 fourth quarter comeback was not enough as Winthrop dropped a heart-breaking 63-60 decision to Longwood in its last time out.
In the loss, Aliyah Kilpatrick finished with a game-high 21 points and Jimecheia Banks finished with 13 points. Ronata Rogers grabbed 15 rebounds and Arianne Whitaker followed with 14.
Winthrop owns the longest losing streak in the Big South, dropping five straight. The Eagles are 0-9 in road contests this season.
The Eagles have faced a challenging slate as they opened the season with back-to-back games at nationally-ranked opponents (Oklahoma and Duke). Winthrop faced national power South Carolina and Auburn before Christmas.
Injuries have plagued the No. 2 team in the Big South preseason poll. Schaquilla Nunn, a Big South Preseason First Team selection, suffered a foot injury in the preseason. Nunn averaged 13.7 ppg and 11.1 rpg during the 2014-15 season.
Winthrop's leading scorer, Erica Williams has missed the last two games due to a foot injury. Williams ranks third in the league with 15.0 ppg. In her two Big South contests, Williams is averaging 21.5 ppg.
The Eagle offense has suffered due to their tough non-conference schedule and injuries, ranking 11^th in scoring among Big South teams at 54.2 ppg.
On the other hand, Winthrop makes up for it on defense. The Eagles lead the Big South and rank 26^th nationally with 10.8 spg.
Individually, Kilpatrick is second nationally with 53 steals and 4.1 spg.
Arianne Whitaker ranks 19^th nationally with 34 blocks and 23^rd with 2.6 bpg.
On the boards, Whitaker pulls down 8.4 per game, good enough for third in the Big South. She ranks 10^th nationally among freshmen.
In nine road contests on the year, Winthrop is averaging 49.7 ppg.
