HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
  • Record: 19-12, 3-3

  • The Highlanders set season-highs with three home runs and six stolen bases in that 9-3 victory.
  • Whitney Davis posted the fourth multi-home run game of her career, giving her 29 in an RU uniform. With one more she will tie for sixth on the program's all-time list.
  • Davis now ranks fifth in the Big South with 26 RBIs and tied for sixth with her seven home runs. Six of the homers and 22 of the RBIs have come in the last 16 games. A total of 13 of her 26 hits on the season have been for extra bases.
  • Becky Mantel has moved into seventh in program history with 60 walks and is one run scored from tying for sixth at 130.
  • Marissa Gagliano had a team season-high 12-game hitting streak prior to Wednesday's second game. She holds a .343 average, while ranking second in the Big South in stolen bases (20), fifth in hits (36) and tied for sixth in runs (24).

  • Coastal leads the conference in most of the offensive categories, including batting (.322), home runs (47) and runs scored (186).
