SENIOR DAY ON DECK SATURDAY AGAINST COASTAL CAROLINA

RADFORD, Va. – Radford closes its inaugural season Saturday when Coastal Carolina visits Cupp Stadium for a 12 p.m. draw. The Highlanders will honor their lone senior, Emily Hoke, beforehand.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
RU (1-13, 0-7 Big South) fell to in-state foe Liberty, 20-4, Wednesday afternoon at home. Callie Bonnel contributed a team-high two points (one goal, one assist) to guide the Highlanders. Gracie Peterson, Juliette Ruland and Emma Rogers also found the scoring column.

Peterson is Radford's points leader with 32 on the season (24 goals, eight assists). Rogers and Ruland are right behind with 29 and 28, respectively.

Adrian Rius continues to lead the conference in draw controls per game (4.36). Meanwhile, Hannah Rosen is second in saves per game (11.21) and third in ground balls per game (3.50).

SCOUTING COASTAL CAROLINA
The Chanticleers (8-6, 4-3 Big South) were edged by Big South co-leader Winthrop, 8-6, Wednesday afternoon at Brooks Stadium in Conway, S.C. Despite leading 4-3 at halftime, Coastal was unable to pull off the upset of the defending conference champions.

Two of the Chants' three league losses were by a combined three goals. Coastal is 3-3 on the road this season.

Sara Nolan delivers a team-best 42 points for the Chants (34 goals, eight assists). She ranks in a tie for seventh in points per game among Big South players with 3.00. Nolan has three game-winning goals on the season.

Jenna Stover posts an 8.58 goals against average, which ranks third in the league. She ranks second in save percentage (.491) and third in saves per game (7.71).
