ULENAERS LEADS CHARGE; RADFORD MOVES INTO EIGHTH IN GOLFWEEK CHALLENGE

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – Radford fired a nine-under 279 after four Highlanders finished their round under par, moving Radford up three sports into eighth place on day two of the 2016 Golfweek Program Challenge at True Blue Golf Club.

The Highlanders stand three strokes behind Gardner-Webb and Stetson for sixth place. Radford is four strokes better than ninth place Elon.

In his second collegiate round, Kristof Ulenaers finished his day with six birdies for a round of 69, seven strokes better than his day one total. The round of three-under par moved Ulernaers up 23 spots. Ulenaers is tied for 39^th place with a two-day total of 145, one-over par. The freshman has nine birdies in the tournament, ranking tied for seventh.

Following Ulenaers; Conner Lewis, Ben Ramsey and Myles Creighton finished with a two-under par 70.

Lewis holds a two-day three-under par total of 141, moving up 11 spots to 15^th place. Ramsey follows with a 142, standing in a tie for 22^nd place. The junior leads the field in Par 3 average with 2.70.

The duo has racked up the pars with Ramsey leading the tournament with 30, Lewis ranks second with 29.

After shooting a 77 on day one, Myles Creighton battled back to finish day two with a two-under par 70, moving into a tie for 51^st place.

Radford has totaled a tournament best 129 pars.

The Highlanders will look to move up the ladder and finish the tournament strong on Monday, teeing off at 7:30 a.m. RU will be paired with Stetson and Elon.
