SETTING THE STAGE
  • With the final seeding for the tournament finally set, Campbell will enter with the four-seed while Radford is just behind with the five-seed
  • The Highlanders will no doubt be looking for a little revenge on the Camels, who ended their season in the Big South quarterfinals in 2016

SERIES HISTORY
  • Radford leads the all-time series against Campbell with a record of 7-6-2 (.536)
  • The series began all the way back on September 15, 1992
  • The two sides played each other twice in 2016 – once in the regular season and once in the first round of the Big South Tournament – with Campbell winning both games
  • Radford and Campbell have already played each other once this season in a game that gave the Camels another 2-0 victory at Eakes Athletic Complex

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
  • Record: 11-6-0 (4-5-0 Big South) | RPI: 187
  • With three straight wins over Presbyterian, UNC Asheville and Charleston Southern to end the regular season, the Highlanders are riding a wave of momentum going into the postseason
  • It will be a test to go on the road once again for Radford, which went 5-4-0 away from the friendly confines of Cupp Stadium including 1-3-0 in conference play
  • Radford led the Big South in points (107) and assists (35) during the regular season
  • The Highlanders earned four shutouts this season including two in their final three games
  • Dynamic attacking duo Jasmine Casarez and Jessica Wollmann ranked in the Big South's top-3 for shots, shots per game, points, points per game, goals and game-winning goals
  • Freshman goalkeeper Lexi Dean carries the second-best saves per game average of any player in the Big South at 5.54
  • The Highlanders scored 22 of their 36 goals in the second half this season, but their opponents also proved to be more successful in the second half of games, scoring 17 of their 24 goals following the break
  • Limiting set pieces could be key for the Highlanders, who allowed 88 corner kicks to be taken by their opposition compared to 63 of their own

SCOUTING THE CAMELS
  • Record: 9-6-2 (5-2-2 Big South) | RPI: 242
  • Campbell went 0-1-1 in its last two matches of the regular season – a 0-1 loss at High Point and a 0-0 draw at Winthrop – so they will look to rebound from a slow finish
  • The Camels are the only other offense in the Big South that can stand next to Radford's. They were the only other team beside Radford to post 100+ points, 35+ goals and 20+ assists this season
  • They have been excellent at the Eakes Athletic Complex this year, going 6-2-0 at home
  • Sophomore forward Alexa Genas leads the Big South and ranks T-3rd in the nation with 15 goals scored this season
  • She also ranks 4th in the nation in points (34) thanks to an additional four assists
  • Junior forward Shannon Wratchford is also a player to watch for in Saturday night's game. She has tallied three goals and a team-leading six assists in 2017
  • Junior goalkeeper Erin Scott has handled most of the work in goal for the Camels, posting an impressive 0.94 goals against average with 58 saves
  • Partly because of her work, Campbell has been extremely difficult to score against – they have eight shutouts in 17 games

UP NEXT
  • The winner of this game advances to the Big South Semifinals in Greensboro, N.C. and will take on the winner of #1 High Point and #8 Winthrop
