JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Myles Creighton has continued his strong play and helped the Radford men's golf team to a sixth place finish following day one of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate at the Pinehurst No. 8 in Pinehurst, N.C.

Creighton, who currently sits in fifth place of the individual leaderboard, finished the first round even (71) with three birdies. He slipped a little in the second round and shot a four over (75) and only two birdies.

The team as a total finished the first and second round shooting 302, with a total 604. The Highlanders were in fifth place after round one, but were jumped by the highest-ranked team in the tournament, Dayton.

Radford carded 16 birdies, the sixth-highest in the tournament, with Creighton and Nick Brediger combining for nine of them. Brediger carded four birdies on the day is tied for 21^st in the individual leaderboard.
