LACROSSE TRAVELS TO LIBERTY FOR FINAL MIDWEEK TILT



LYNCHBURG, Va. – After picking up its first road victory over the weekend, the Radford women's lacrosse team will face Liberty on Wednesday at Liberty Lacrosse Field and look to win its second consecutive road game. First draw is slated for 6 p.m.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS

•  Radford (6-8, 2-3 Big South) looks to carry momentum to Liberty after picking up its first road victory as a program with an 18-6 win over Presbyterian.
•  The six goals scored by the Blue Hose were the lowest scored by a Big South opponent Radford has faced in a game since the program began last season.
•  Radford has scored 193 goals this season and is averaging 13.79 goals per game, second-most in the Big South.
•  Lindsey Carroll has been creating scoring chances and has a conference-high 34 assists this season with 10 coming in one game. She sits on top of the Big South leaderboard with 2.43 assists per game.
•  Emma Rogers has been getting great opportunities at the net and has scored 44 goals this year. She is scoring 3.14 goals per game, which is the best in the Big South.
•  Adrian Rius, the conference leader in draw controls with 80 (5.71 per game), set a career-high with nine draw controls against the Blue Hose.
•  Radford has great pursuit for loose balls and is averaging 21.79 ground balls per game, which is good for 12th place in the land.
•  The Highlanders are eighth nationally in shot percentage (48.3 percent) and 25th in the country in scoring offense averaging 13.79 goals per game.
 
SCOUTING LIBERTY
• Liberty (4-11, 3-2 Big South) has only won all four of its games at home, but have a 4-5 record with games played at Liberty Lacrosse Field.
•  The Flames are led by Brianna McCaffrey, who has 27 goals, and Kayla Foster with 49 points. Foster has totaled 22 goals and 27 assists over 15 games.
•  Liberty is first in the Big South scooping up 23.20 ground balls per game and second in the league with 11.67 caused turnovers per contest.
•  The Flames are averaging just fewer than 10 goals a game and just over five assists per game. However, Liberty is averaging the most turnovers in a game by a Big South team with 24.40 per game.
