SOFTBALL’S SERIES AT PRESBYTERIAN MOVED TO FRIDAY, SATURDAY

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford softball team's final Big South Conference road series of the season at Presbyterian has been moved up a day to Friday and Saturday, due to the Sunday weather forecast for Clinton, S.C.

The teams will now play a single game Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. and cap it off with the scheduled Saturday doubleheader, beginning at 1 p.m. Only live stats will be available for each of the games.

The series is a key one for both the Highlanders and Blue Hose as they battle to get in position to qualify for the Big South tournament. Presbyterian has one more conference win, but has played three more games. Radford is one of just two teams with nine league games remaining.

RU holds an 18-6 all-time lead over Presbyterian, including a three-game sweep at home last year featuring a 12-4 overall scoring margin. The Highlanders are 7-4 in Clinton.
