SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After 16 holes of play, competition at the Wofford Invitational was suspended due to inclement weather. However, the Radford men's golf team currently sits in third place after shooting a two-under as a team.

The tournament will be shortened to 36 holes (two rounds) and teams will resume the final few holes of the first round at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. After the first round is completed the second and final round will begin at noon.

Myles Creighton had the best play of any Highlander through 15 holes as he carded four birdies and one eagle en route to a three-under (58). He is currently tied for fifth place in the individual leaderboard.

Conner Lewis and Gareth Sargent both have even scores and are tied for 17^th place. Both players are 16 holes through the opening round.

The only two teams in front of the Highlanders are George Mason, who has a seven-under and Appalachian State with a six-under. Radford totaled 18 birdies, which is currently the most of any team on the course.
