SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After 12 days off, the Radford men's golf team opens competition at the Wofford Invitational on Monday and concludes Tuesday at the Country Club of Spartanburg; both days will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The Highlanders finished sixth at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate following the eighth place finish after the first two rounds. Myles Creighton finished ninth, the best of any Highlander and Big South player in the tournament.
Nick Brediger tied for 11th place in the individual leaderboard and finished five-over (215). It was the senior's third top 15 finish in a row.
Radford will be one of three Big South teams in the 11-team tournament; the others being Presbyterian and Gardner-Webb. A few other teams in the tournament are Appalachian State, Austin Peay, George Mason and North Dakota State.
