SERIES HISTORY
Radford has dominated the all-time series against UNC Asheville, putting together a 35-11-4 record across 50 meetings dating back to 1984.

Redshirt senior forward Kieran Roberts recorded a hat trick when the Highlanders and the Bulldogs met in 2017. Sivert Daehlie added a goal of his own to give Radford a 4-0 win at Cupp Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
The Highlanders are coming off of back-to-back double overtime victories. First, they earned a 1-0 victory against Presbyterian thanks to a Kieran Roberts goal with 57 seconds left in the game. Then, Radford topped #16 Charlotte, 2-1, after a two-goal performance from Amadou Macky Diop. The game-winning goal even made an apperance on Sportscenter!

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
Radford has officially righted the ship, winning four of its last five games to improve to 4-6-0 overall and 2-2 in the Big South. The Highlanders also ended the 2017 regular season by winning four of its last five games.

Roberts has led the charge and now ranks T-17th in the nation for game-winning goals with three. The Bournemouth, England native is also sixth in the nation for shots on goal per game with 2.20 through 10 contests.

With the goals finally starting to rack up, the Highlanders are tallying more and more assists as well. Diop leads Radford with two assists, but nine different Highlanders are tied for second on the squad with one apiece.

DIOP DOMINATION
Wednesday night marked the first time Diop has scored a game-winning goal in his young career. He now leads the Highlanders with six goals and leads the entire Big South in points per game with 1.75 across eight matches. He also ranks second in the conference for goals scored and second for shots per game (3.50).

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
UNC Asheville has had a tough time picking up wins this season, earning only one victory in 13 games. That one win came back on Aug. 27 when the Bulldogs topped the Wofford Terriers, 1-0, in Spartanburg. To make matters worse, they are coming off their worst performance of the season in a 5-1 loss to Presbyterian.

The Big South Preseason poll projected the Bulldogs to finish T-7th with Longwood in the nine-team conference, but one confident voter picked them to finish first. UNC Asheville currently ranks last in the Big South for points per game (2.62), goals per game (0.92) and assists per game (0.77). The team does lead the conference in saves with 67 so far.

Redshirt freshman forward Taylor Durall leads the team with three goals and one assist for seven points. Freshman midfielder Lane Carroll owns the squad's only game-winning goal of the season. Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Dakotah Bainter has been busy this year, making 57 saves and collecting one shutout.
