SOFTBALL POSTPONES GAMES AGAINST ETSU AND GARDNER-WEBB THIS WEEK

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford softball doubleheader against ETSU originally scheduled for Wednesday and weekend series against Gardner-Webb has been postponed due to impending weather in the weekly forecast, Hope Creasy announced on Tuesday.

The Highlanders and Buccaneers played twice in the opening weekend at the Eagle Round Robin in Statesboro, Ga. The two teams will look to make up the doubleheader at some point this season.

The conference series against Gardner-Webb that was supposed to take place this weekend has been moved to Saturday, April 21st and Sunday, April 22nd, which was originally scheduled as an off weekend for the Highlanders. There will be a doubleheader on Saturday the 21st and a single game on Sunday the 22nd. Game times are still TBA.

Radford and Hampton are also looking for a reschedule date and time for their doubleheader that was postponed last week.
