WOMEN’S SOCCER HOSTS LONGWOOD ON WEDNESDAY



RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's soccer team looks to rebound as they host Commonwealth foe, Longwood, on Wednesday night at 7 p.m., inside Cupp Stadium.

Kayla Thomas managed to come up with her first collegiate goal in the last match against Gardner-Webb, but it was not enough to overcome a 2-1 loss last weekend.

ABOUT THE LANCERS
Longwood was picked to finish second in the Big South Preseason Poll, but has a 2-4-3 record. The Lancers have not picked up a win in conference play, but have also not suffered a loss. They have tied twice, once with UNC Asheville and most recently Charleston Southern. Longwood has spread out its scoring attack as eight different players have scored at least one goal. Kelly Almeida leads the team with three goals.
