The Highlanders have taken 56 shots with 28 landing on goal, which is a .500 shot on goal percentage. Offensively, the team is averaging over two goals per match, with its opponents averaging two. Jessica Wollmann leads the team with three goals this season. Jordan Lundin is the only other Highlander with a multi-goal 2018 season and has a .500 shot percentage. Courtenay Kaplan, the Highlanders starting goalkeeper, has 16 saves and has only allowed one in the last two matches.

LAST TIME OUT
Radford defeated Mount St. Mary's on Sunday in a 2-1 victory at Cupp Stadium. Reese Degnan scored her first collegiate goal and Nelia Perez added her first goal of the season. The Highlanders were able to hold Mount St. Mary's to 10 shots in the match, with seven coming in the second half.

ABOUT THE MOUNTAINEERS
Appalachian State has a 3-3-1 record going into Saturday's match with all three of their wins coming at home. They lost their last time on the pitch, 1-0, to North Florida on Thursday. Team leader Maggie Hanusek has taken 15 shots, resulting in six points – two goals and two assists.

BACK-TO-BACK DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
After Lundin was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week for her performance against Wofford in August, the Highlanders picked up another weekly honor as Jane Everett was also named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week. She played a full 90 minutes for the first time this season and led a Radford defense that held Mount St. Mary's to only 10 shots.
