RADFORD, Va. – Welcome to the Radford Roundup, where fans can find out all the information they need on upcoming Radford Athletics events taking place between Tuesday, May 14th and Sunday, May 19th.

vs. Wake Forest - Tuesday, May 14th at 6 p.m.

  • The Highlanders are coming off a three-game sweep of UNC Asheville in which they outscored the Bulldogs, 33-to-9
  • Radford climbed the Big South standings and are now in first place by half a game over Campbell
  • Through 50 games, the Highlanders rank 16th in the nation with 1.31 home runs per game and 19th in the nation with 64 total home runs
  • Wake Forest completes its weekend series with Miami on Monday night in Winston-Salem before heading to Radford
  • The Demon Deacons currently sit in fifth out of seven teams in the ACC Atlantic Division
  • They rank eighth in the nation in both home runs (72) and home runs per game (1.44), 13th in runs scored (394) and 13th in base on balls (280)
  • Sophomore infielder Bobby Seymour has been incredible at the plate, hitting .374 with eight home runs. He ranks second in the nation and leads the ACC with 79 RBI

  • High Point comes to the New River Valley for the final conference series of the 2019 regular season
  • The last time the Highlanders took on the Panthers at Carter Memorial stadium, they won 2-of-3 games including a decisive 8-1 victory in the rubber match on May 14, 2017
  • High Point is currently fifth in the Big South standings and will be jockeying with Presbyterian and Gardner-Webb for the fourth seed in the conference tournament
  • They were just swept in three games by Gardner-Webb, being outscored 27-to-3 in the series. The Panthers will face the UNC Tar Heels in a midweek tune-up
  • Sophomore infielder Travis Holt is top-100 in the country and leads the Big South with 1.41 hits per game
