- Radford continues its season-opening 11-game road trip with a three-game weekend series at Mercer. The Highlanders are making the first of two consecutive weekend road trips to Georgia.
- Will Harless has an RBI in every game this season and leads the Big South with eight this season.
- Colby Higgerson has a hit in every game this season and extended his on-base streak to a team-best 25 games, dating back to last season.
- Radford's bullpen threw 6 1/3 innings of shutout baseball in its last game at Liberty, including four innings by Andrew Boyd in his collegiate debut.
- Tanner Barrs had a pair of hits in the first start of his career. His two singles at Liberty were also the first two hits of his career.
- Opposing base-stealers are now 0-for-5 when running on Straton Podaras this season. Podaras has thrown out at least one base-stealer in every game this season.
- The Highlanders have five players who have reached base safely in all four games this season - Harless, Higgerson, Garrett Matheny, Anthony Galati and Sean Cheely.
- Mercer is the defending SOCON Tournament champion and earned a berth in the NCAA Regionals last season. The Bears were picked to finish third in the conference this season.
- The Bears swept their season-opening series at home against Maryland-Eastern Shore and took both of their midweek contests on the road at Florida A&M

- The Highlanders are coming off a shortened 5-3 victory over Norfolk State in 5 innings where the second game was canceled due to weather.
- The tournament consists of four games spread over two days with Radford competing against Toledo, Sacred Heart, Hartford and Youngstown State.
- The Highlanders will open the weekend at 2 p.m., on Friday with back-to-back games against Toledo and Sacred Heart. Saturday features Hartford and Youngstown State at 10 a.m., and noon, respectively.
- The Rockets are led in the circle by junior Erin Hunt. Hunt was named Mid-American Conference Pitcher of the Week after leading Toledo to two wins at the H.E.B. Classic. She threw for 15.0 innings with a 0.46 ERA and no walks. At the plate, junior Dayna Denner led the way for the Rockets, going 7-for-17 with one home runs and seven RBIs. Denner's five RBIs against Texas Southern is tied for second in program history for RBIs in a single game.
- Sacred Heart was picked to finish third in the Northeast Conference. Last year, the Pioneers playoff run was but short, as SHU fell to Saint Francis U in the opening round of the NEC Tournament before dropping the elimination game to Mount Saint Mary's in a tight 4-3 loss.
- Hartford holds a 1-3 overall record on the young season after playing at the Bash in the Boro Tournament on opening weekend. Sophomore Kelsey Galevich, who earned American East Player of the Week after a monstrous opening weekend, recorded a .575 batting average, with two doubles, one triple, five RBI and four runs scored.
- Youngstown State senior Maddi Lusk was named the Horizon League Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 10. Lusk, who now ranks tied for 10th all-time with 35 career doubles, led the Penguins to a 3-2 record during the opening weekend of the 2020 season.

- Radford moves it's attention to its second straight commonwealth foe for the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
- Grace Gleason and Amanda Paino currently lead the team with five and four goals respectively with Paino adding two assists to her total.
- Maddie Bowman played another solid 60 minutes in the net for Radford against Virginia Tech notching 14 saves moving her total to 30 this year which is second-best in the Big South.

- The Highlanders are headed back to Blacksburg for the third time this indoor season for the Virginia Tech Invitational, it will be the last tune up for the squad before hosting the Big South Championships also in Blacksburg next weekend.
- Last weekend at the Darius Dixon Invitational it was the distance runners who paved the way with Annsley Eckert and Rachel Millirons setting program-best times in the 3000-meter event.
- Emilie Miller also notched her season-best in the 60-meter hurdle event with Talasjah WEathersby with a lifetime best in the same event.
- The quartet of Chancey Gunnell, La'Tisha Chambers, Ryan Paine, and Karah Foster ran a season best in the 4x400 event as well.

- Radford is coming off a big 4-3 victory over UNC Greensboro last Wednesday where Yevhen Sirous came up clutch for the Highlanders clinching the match on court two with a 3-6, 7-6, 6-4 victory.
- Andres Silva has moved his career singles record to 21-6 with his win on court four against UNC Greensboro.
- Rodrigo Magalhaes currently sits just one win shy of 35 career singles victories at Radford seeing all his time mostly on courts one and two, but also a handful of matches on court three.
- Last year against North Carolina A&T, the duo of Magalhaes and Sirous won in doubles handily 6-3 while taking down both of their singles opponents to lead the Highlanders to a 6-1 victory.
- This is just the third meeting between the Highlanders and the Aggies, with Radford being victorious in both previous matchups winning 13 of the 14 points for grabs.
- Monday's match against North Carolina Central will be the first meeting between the two programs in recent history.

- After a rainout earlier this week the Highlanders are looking to take down North Carolina A&T for a fourth straight year.
- Last time out against Virginia Tech, Katey Fruehauf and Tyler Blalock took home singles victories on courts six and four respectively.
- So far this season Radford has combined for 27 singles victories with Drousile Dzeubou and Anastasia Belyaeva leading the way with five each.
- When these two squads matched up last year in their season opener, Dzeubou, Malin Falk, Blalock, Jeanine Acierto, and Fruehauf all took home singles victories.
- Saturday's match against Campbell will be the first Big South match of the season for Radford, where the Highlanders will look to avenge last season's loss.
Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate - Monday, Feb. 24 and Tuesday, Feb. 25

- The Highlanders play their first tournament of the spring season when they play at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate.
- Peter Gasperini begins his final campaign of his career and was named the Big South's Golfer of the Week once during the fall season.
- Radford's best finish of the fall season came at the Musgrove Mill Match Play, where the Highlanders finished third.
- Charleston Southern is the defending tournament champion after shooting a team score of 278 in the final round.
Oyster Shuck Match Play - Monday, Feb. 24 and Tuesday, Feb. 25

Host Institution: The Citadel
- Radford opens its spring season on Monday at the Oyster Shuck Match Play.
- The Highlanders went 2-1 at the tournament last season, defeating Wofford and Appalachian State and falling to tournament champion James Madison.
- Radford's set a 54-hole school record in the fall season, recording a team score of 904 at the William & Mary Fall Invitational on their way to a runner-up finish.
- Jayde Dudley was named the Big South's Freshman of the Week twice during the fall, one of two players in the conference to earn that distinction.
- James Madison is the defending tournament champion after going 3-0 across the two-day tournament.
