SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday's meeting marks the first time in program history that Radford and Kentucky Christian will play each other in men's basketball.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS
It may not seem like it when you look at Kentucky Christian's overall record of 3-6, but the Knights are beating expectations so far this season. Now in its fifth season under head coach Akeem Scott, KCU was picked to finish 11th out of 13 teams in the AAC – no not that AAC – that Appalachian Athletic Conference.

The Knights are 3-4 in conference play so far and have also played a pair of very good mid-major Division I programs in Morehead State and Lipscomb. The three-pronged attack of Kourtney Ware (19.0 points), David Woodard (16.5 points) and Jashaun Hawkins (14.5 points) combined for an average of 50 per game in those two contests.

As a team, Kentucky Christian relies on that offensive output to vie for wins, as they currently average a solid 81.6 points per game. They are shooting 43.9% from the field, but just 30.1% from beyond the arc and have been out-rebounded by an average margin of 9.6 boards per game.

IN THE DEPTHS
Radford does not have a single player averaging 10.0 or more points per game this season, but that is in part due to the type of team-oriented offense Coach Nichols has put into place. Eleven different Highlanders are contributing with 2.5+ points per game and seven different players average 5.0+ points per game, showing a type of depth not many teams can boast.

BUILDING BLOCKS
The forward duo of Rashun Williams and Shaquan Jules have been Radford's primary rim protectors this season, combining for 10 blocks through the team's first seven games. Williams has recorded a block in five of the season games and Jules now has two blocks in back-to-back contests.
