- The Highlanders look to bounce back after dropping the series to UNC Asheville last time out.
- Bruce Hudson earned the only victory in the series after tossing 3.2 innings of perfect baseball. He was named Big South Reliever of the Week.
- Sean Cheely leads the team offensively with a .325 batting average and 27 hits.
- There have been some schedule changes this week and ETSU will be coming to town on Tuesday for a 4 p.m., first pitch.
- USC Upstate will also come to Carter Memorial Stadium for a three-game set. The first is slated to begin on Friday and the other two will be played on Saturday.

- The Highlanders won four of their five games last week, including a sweep over Gardner-Webb pushing their conference record to 5-1.
- Madison Canady went 8-for-18 (.444) with three doubles and seven RBIs. All three of her doubles came in the UNCG series and she tallied five of her seven RBIs in the series as well.
- She was named Big South Player of the Week.
- Sydney Fisher leads the team with a .370 batting average and 34 hits. She has a seven-game hit streak and has tallied a hit in every game this season but five.
- Western Carolina is 3-2 over the last five games.
- Junior Bailey Huneycutt hit her fifth home run of the season in the second game of the doubleheader with the Mocs. She paces the team with 20 hits and also tops the team with 15 runs scored. She has hit a home run in two of the last four games.
- Appalachian State enters with a 14-10 record and won three in a row – two over Western Carolina.
- Emma Jones is one of three players batting over .300 for the Mountaineers with a team-best .397 batting average.

- The Highlanders look to get back on track after dropping six straight sets against USC Upstate.
- Emma Young and Hailey Flowers led the team in the first match against USC Upstate with a combined 15 kills, while Laila Wallace and Samantha Retiz led the team in the second match with a combined 14 kills.
- Grace Green is about to eclipse 150 digs this season with 148 which leads the team. Three Highlanders are currently tied with 78 digs being Shelby Hernandez, Taylor O'Neal, and Flowers.
- Jordan Coomes and Erin Hetherington are battling closely for the team lead in assists, with Hetherington having the slight edge as of now at 138 assists.
- Campbell lost their last two matches at High Point and currently sits in third place in the Big South standings.

- Radford fell in a close 1-0 match against High Point Sunday afternoon, coming up just short on multiple scoring opportunities in the second half.
- The Highlander defense has been stout the last five matches still, only giving up that lone goal against High Point over 460 minutes.
- Over the last five games Lexi Dean has started and played through all 90 minutes and recorded 10 saves over that time to keep the opponent in check.
- Brianna Oliver and Meavyn Jones are tied for the lead in goals this season with four each while Alexeis Kirnos leads the team by far in assists with four.
- Longwood and Radford are currently knotted up in the second spot of the Big South standings, with this match having heavy postseason implications as the regular season winds down.
- Longwood is on a three match winning streak taking down UNC Asheville, Presbyterian, and most recently Winthrop. The Lancers have had mighty struggles scoring away from home, though, with an 0-0-3 record with two of those ties being scoreless matches.

- Radford lost a tough 1-0 game this past Sunday against Presbyterian and will look to rebound against Campbell this week as the regular season is down to just two games.
- The Big South Championships will have just the top four teams this season and the Highlanders are just a half game out of that fourth spot. Campbell is sitting comfortably in third place.
- Baye Djibril Faye leads the team with three goals and seven points so far this season while Max-Emilios Angelides leads the team in assists with four.
- Campbell has currently won three straight games including an 8-0 blowout against Presbyterian a week ago. The Camels have only played three matches on the road this season and currently hold an 1-1-1 record when away from the home field.

- Radford played two games last week against Virginia Tech and William & Mary. Radford got the big win last Saturday in overtime at William & Mary.
- Ashlyn Grogan's golden goal was the deciding factor in that game against William & Mary where there were three lead changes and five ties.
- Ava Goeller started in both games for Radford and recorded hat tricks in both games as well with three goals each.
- Katie Bendrick was a force in draw controls this week combining for 20 in the two games played. Against William & Mary she caused a high amongst all players four turnovers while picking up two ground balls and winning 11 draw controls.
- Gardner-Webb has picked up a conference win on the road against Presbyterian already this season, but is coming off a tough loss to Winthrop last Sunday.

- Radford posted two strong wins last week in a 7-0 sweep over James Madison and a dominating 6-1 victory over UNC Asheville.
- Aditya Balsekar posted a perfect 3-0 singles record on court six this week, pushing his singles win total to 10, with a 9-2 record on court six.
- Konstantinos Raptis was also a perfect 3-0 in singles play last week with all his wins coming on court four.
- Longwood is searching for their first conference win of the season at 0-2Â and has just one DI victory this season against North Carolina A&T who they beat 5-2.
- Presbyterian has plenty of non-conference wins this season despite their sub-.500 conference record, with wins against Davidson, The Citadel, Chatanooga, and Mercer.

- Radford is back at home for a slate of Big South and non-conference matches, with three of the four matches being on the home courts.
- Last week Radford competed in three close matches against Presbyterian, Davidson, and UNC Asheville. The Highlanders beat UNC Asheville to close out the week, moving their conference record to 2-1.
- Malin Falk and Salma Loudili picked up player of the week honors in the previous week after their strong play against Campbell and Virginia Tech in weeks prior.
- Loudili had a perfect record last week with a 2-0 record on court two singles, a 1-0 record on court one singles, and a 2-0 record on court one doubles.
- Longwood is still looking for its first conference win this season at 0-3, and only has one DI win this year which came against North Carolina A&T who they swept 7-0.
- VCU has played some strong competition this season with big wins against Elon, ETSU, Davidson, William & Mary, and Davidson.
- Charleston Southern has dominated the series against Radford for the last decade but tables may turn this year as the Highlanders boast a strong presence on the top-four singles courts and have been playing well in doubles so far this year.
- Radford will start off next week with a Monday match on the road against Liberty who is 3-0 against Big South competition.

- Radford moves onto its third tournament of the season at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, the third of six tournaments for the Highlanders this season. Next week the Highlanders will also move on to the Golfweek Invitational, their fourth tournament of the season.
- Bryce Corbett was named Big South Freshman of the Week after the Highlanders last week of competition. He earned a top-10 finish with a three-round score of 4-under and carded three of Radford's lowest rounds.
- Andrew Kennedy (75-71-75, +5) and Tyler Hull (75-75-71, +5) also tied for 32nd at the Seahawk Intercollegiate to round out the top-finishers.

- Radford moves on to its fourth tournament of the season at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, the fourth of six tournaments for the Highlanders this season. Next week the Highlanders will also move on to the Golfweek Invitational, their fifth tournament of the season.
- Radford's top performer in their last competition at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate was Sidney Walker (75-73-77, +12) who finish tied for sixth overall in the tournament.
- Natalie Welsh (79-80-75, +21) also finished within the top-20 overall competitors at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate.
- Riko Nagai recorded her first hole-in-one as a Highlander during day one of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate two weeks ago.

- Radford is back in action for its third competition this week, this time at the Vertklasse Meet hosted by High Point.
- Last week at the Raleigh Relays the trio of Rachel Millirons, Rachel Werking, and Chloe Wellings recorded times good enough to put them in the records books for the 5k event.
- Lauren Stuart placed herself seventh in the record books for the javeln throw last week with a mark of 29.42m.
- Taylor Tinsley made her first outdoor appearance since winning the Big South Championship high jump event in 2019 and placed third overall.
- The 4x100-meter relay team of Denisha Hoosier, Karah Foster, Alexis Stafford, and Talasjah Weathersby also put themselves in the record books at sixth with their performance last week.
