SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Flames spent over 30 years facing each other in the Big South which led to 70 matchups overall in the historic series. Liberty currently owns a 44-26 edge in the series, but it was Radford who won the last meeting back in the 2017-18 season 52-45 inside the Dedmon Center.

Head coaches Mike McGuire and Carey Greene are well acquainted, facing each other 12 times over five seasons in the Big South. Over the last four meetings, the victors have been those on the home court with Radford winning twice inside Dedmon while Liberty took the other two meetings over in Lynchburg, Va.

SCOUTING THE FLAMES
Liberty will come into Sunday's meeting with a 2-4 overall record with wins over Hampton and Division III Salem. Despite being on a three-game losing streak, those losses came against some quality competition as the Flames dropped close contests to James Madison, East Carolina and Minnesota.

Mya Berkman leads the Flames starting in all six games so far this season averaging 14.3 points and 9.2 rebounds a game. Five other flames are averaging 5+ points a game this season as the Flames offense has proven to come at opponents from all angles. While the Flames are only shooting 27% from three this season, they are also holding opponents to just 25% from deep.

LALONDE UP TOP IN THE BIG SOUTH
Rachel LaLonde has been impressive seven games into her senior campaign. LaLonde is averaging 10.4 ppg and 8.6 rpg, one of just a handful of Big South players almost averaging a double-double. LaLonde's 8.6 rebounds per game rank second in the conference, and her defensive prowess is also on display with a conference top-ten total in blocks with seven.

WILLIAMS KEEPING PACE
Carmen Williams has been a reliable shooter for the Highlanders so far this season shooting 37% from the floor and averaging 9.3 points a game which ranks third on the team. Last Wednesday's game was Williams third time this season reaching double-digit points and with a pair of assists she moved her season total to 19, already past the halfway mark to her total of 36 in her freshman season.
