SERIES HISTORY
Radford and Presbyterian have met 31 times over the last 15 seasons with the Highlanders owning a 24-7 series lead. Presbyterian has taken two of the last three meetings, however, including a 74-63 win in Clinton, S.C. earlier this season.
Bridget Birkhead, Danielle Montelbano and Ashley Tudor all scored double digit points in the meeting earlier this season. The Blue Hose used a strong first quarter to ultimately pull away despite a strong effort by the Highlanders from the second quarter forward.
SCOUTING THE BLUE HOSE
Presbyterian snapped a six-game losing streak earlier this week with a huge upset over Gardner-Webb. The Blue Hose locked themselves into the noon game next Tuesday in the Big South tournament. Jade Compton leads the team in scoring with 15.8 points per game this season and also in rebounds with 7.0 per game. The Blue Hose as a squad have shot at a decent 40.6% clip this season.
SENIOR DAY SPOTLIGHT
Bridget Birkhead and Bryonna McClean will be honored as the team's two seniors before Saturday afternoon's contest. McClean had missed the last couple of weeks due to injury but did reappear in Thursday night's contest against Hampton scoring in her first minute back and helping Radford pull down three-straight offensive rebounds late in the fourth quarter. Birkhead has started in just about every game this season and leads the team in scoring with 10.9 points per game.
TUDOR RECORDS DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Ashley Tudor posted the team's second double-double of the season last Thursday night against Hampton with 12 points, 10 rebounds and also collected a team-high three blocks. Tudor has been a big boost off the bench for Radford over the last nine games scoring double-digit figures five times over that stretch.
