CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Junior middle blocker Sophie Paspal was voted All-Big South Honorable Mention and named to the Big South All-Academic Team, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.
 
After missing the first six matches of the season due to injury, Paspal was the Highlanders' most consistent contributor on both the offensive and defensive sides of the net. 
 
The Canton, Mich. native tallied 136 kills on a .315 hitting percentage and 55.0 total blocks for a total of 168.5 points. She produced double-digit kills in six matches, including a career-high 20 kills (.457 H%) in a win over Charleston Southern on Nov. 4.
 
Paspal has also excelled in the classroom since transferring to Radford from Hartford prior to the 2022-23 season, producing a 3.96 cumulative grade point average as a Criminal Justice major.
