RADFORD, VA. - The Radford softball program has been hard at work this Fall giving back to the New River Valley community in various community efforts.
During the Fall semester each student-athlete on the Highlanders' roster has completed at least 20 hours of volunteer work.Some of the events Radford helped in included Habitat for Humanity, activities at McHarg Eelementary School, Belle Heth's Color Run, worked with the Getting Scary on the Huckleberry 5K, Harvest Hope festival at Grace Life Baptist Church, fall open house with Radford Admissions, and meal prepping with Fairlawn Daily Bread. The softball program also came up with the most donations of all Radford Athletics during the Radford Gives Back campaign.
