MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Radford women's golf tied for 15th in their first invitational of the spring season at Rivertowne country club
The Highlanders got started in the first round of the Rivertowne Intercollegiate posting a stroke of 303. Shea Smith and Macy Johnson led the charge in round one as they recorded the two lowest stroke counts for the Highlanders at 75 each, with Johnson recording three birdies.
Round two of the first day the Highlanders keep a similar pace with a stroke count at 307.
Shea Smith would once again pace the squad in the second round as she would finish on par with a 72-stroke count on the day, recording three birdies and 12 pars.
The Highlander would finish with the third round at 310 in their final day of competition Tuesday.
Hannah Lindemann and Caroline Gilreath would both lead the Highlanders on the final day as they would both finish off +2 over par at 74 strokes each. Caroline Gilreath, however, would secure four birdies in the evening, and Hannah Lindemann would secure an Eagle on a Par 4 at hole 6 in the final round.

The Highlanders return to the course on Friday, Mar. 15 for Eastern Carolina's Cutter Creek Match Play. The tournament will be played at Cutter Creek Course in Snow Hill, N.C.
