SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Radford women's golf team played in a pair of close rounds but would fall to East Carolina in the first round and Georgia State in the second to finish out the Cutter Creek Match Play at Cutter Creek Golf Club.
For the first round against East Carolina, Hannah Lindemann and Macy Johnson both finished the round tying in their pairings. East Carolina, however, would take three wins in the pairings from the Highlanders to win the round 4.0-1.0.
In the second round, the Highlanders would face Georgia State to play for third place in the tournament. Radford fought hard in the round with Hannah Lindemann, Grace Addison, and Caroline Gilreath being able to tie in their pairings, but the Panthers would ultimately edge out the Highlanders in two of the five pairings, giving the Panthers a 3.5-1.5 win.
