Men's Soccer Reveals 2024 Schedule

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford men's soccer program revealed their 2024 schedule Friday afternoon filled with exciting matchups to celebrate the program's 50th year. 

Before regular season action, the Highlanders will play a pair of exhibition games. Fans can catch a glimpse of the 2024 squad August 14 at Cupp stadium as they take on Bluefield University for the first exhibition game. Their second exhibition game is on the on road at West Virginia on August 17.

The Highlanders start things off with their first three regular season games on the road. They make their first stop against former conference rivals Campbell on August 23. They continue their journey on the road to Elon to face the Phoenix August 26 and on September 1 the Highlanders will turn their attention to in-state rival Old Dominion to wrap up their three-game stint away from home. 

Radford will face Wofford (September 7) at Cupp stadium for the first home game of the regular season. The Highlanders will then head to Wake Forest on September 10 to face the Demon Deacons who ranked 22 in RPI last season. The Highlanders will have a few days of rest before returning to Cupp (September 17) for a fixture against Queens (N.C.) before beginning conference play. 

Conference play will begin on the road for the Highlanders against Gardner-Webb on September 21. Radford will then head up to JMU for nonconference action to face the Dukes who had the 26th highest RPI during the 2023 season on September 24. Back to conference play, Radford will head down to High Point to face the 2023 Big South Champions on September 28 for the second game of conference play.  

To begin October, the Highlanders will have a two-game stint at Cupp Stadium. The first game back home will continue nonconference play as the Highlanders host VMI on October 2 and face a Big South foe in Presbyterian on October 5 to finish the homestand. 

Back on the road for two straight games, Radford will play the first of the two at UNC Greensboro on October 8 to conclude nonconference play and later head to the Palmetto State to take on USC Upstate on October 12.  

Two of the final three games of the season will be played at home. Radford will have a matchup against UNC Asheville on October 19 and Winthrop on October 26 to finish play at home. The Highlanders will conclude the regular season on the road facing off against in-state rival Longwood on November 2.
