A LOOK BACK
The Highlanders and Eagles meet for the first time in program history on Sunday afternoon. The unique opponent marks the fourth such occurrence during the nonconference schedule this season for Radford, including first-time match-ups with Wright State, Cleveland State, Southern Miss and now Coppin State.

ONSLAUGHT FROM THREE
Over the Highlanders' last five games, a commitment to the three ball has been crucial to a renewed success for the offense. Averaging well over 30 attempts per game, Radford has hit 10 or more threes in each of the last five games shooting at 36% over that span. Two of Radford's last three games, wins over Notre Dame of Maryland and Saint Francis, saw season-highs of 42% shooting percentages each.

Jaylon Johnson has been the primary threat from deep, scoring 18 points in each of his last two games. The senior guard has three or more three pointers in four consecutive games, leading the team overall this season with 27 made shots from deep. Trending upwards as of late from three is also Del Jones (4 for his last 11), Mari Jordan (5 for his last 11), and Lukas Walls (6 for his last 11).

WALLS' BIG MINUTES
Walls has started in each of the Highlanders' last five games and played a crucial role in the team's last two victories. Scoring in double figures for the second and third time this season, Walls dropped 10 against Notre Dame of Maryland with four assists while setting a season-high 14 in the victory over Saint Francis with an efficient 4-of-5 shooting performance from beyond the arc. His 51% shooting clip this season currently ranks second best on the squad.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Coppin State enters Sunday looking to snap a four-game losing skid with a 2-11 overall record that includes victories over Rider and Central Penn. The Eagles are led by program great and third-year head coach Larry Stewart trying to build off momentum from his second season at the helm.

The Eagles play a balanced effort throughout their entire roster with 14 of 15 players who have seen court time averaging over 10 minutes per game. Their minutes leader, DeMariontay Hall, is also the team's leading scorer and rebounder at 8.8 ppg and 5.7 rpg. Turnovers have been pesky through the season, as the team is averaging a +4 margin this year with opponents also outshooting the Eagles by 7%.
