LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Radford women's track & field distance squad got some of its first action of the outdoor season with the running of the Dr. Jack M. Toms Alumni Invitational on a picture-perfect evening at Shellenberger Field & Dr. Jack M. Toms Track on Friday evening.
Even with just a small group in attendance, the Highlanders kept the record-setting 2025 campaign rolling with one all-time top 10 performance and two personal bests.

NOTABLES
- The highlight of the night belonged to
Megan Cash as she raced to a podium finish at third overall in the 5000-meter final. She blazed the track in 17:48.95, which was good for both a personal best and the eighth-fastest time posted in the event in school history. The stellar performance ranks second overall in the Big South and 113th in all of NCAA Division I track & field.

Mia Farley also set a personal best in the 1,500-meter final.
- As a unit, Radford finished the abbreviated evening with one all-time top 10 mark and two personal records.
- The Dr. Jack M Toms Alumni Invitational welcomed nearly 30 competing teams, which included competition across each collegiate division.

Radford returns the whole squad for an in-conference showdown at High Point's VertKlasse Meeting that runs over two days on Friday, April 4 through Saturday, April 5 at Vert Stadium in High Point, North Carolina.
