Radford Women’s Basketball Reveals 2025-26 Nonconference Schedule

RADFORD, Va. – Radford Women's Basketball Head Coach Mike McGuire has unveiled the program's upcoming 2025-26 nonconference schedule Monday morning which features eight home games inside the Dedmon Center, four meetings with ACC foes and matchups with four other mid-major programs on the road.

THE BREAKDOWN
Fans can get their first look at the Highlanders' 2025-26 squad with a preseason exhibition against Lynchburg on Oct. 28. The regular season begins with a pair of exciting ACC foes on the road as Radford visits Wake Forest on Nov. 3rd before heading further south to take on Georgia Tech on Nov. 6th.

The Highlanders return to the Dedmon Center for their home opener set against Emory & Henry on Nov. 8th. Sticking to the home court, Radford hosts Loyola (MD) on Nov. 11th in a return trip from last year's exciting overtime final on the road. Radford's third ACC opponent comes at Virginia on Nov. 16th in another rematch from the 2024-25 schedule.

Back at home for back-to-back contests once again, Radford hosts Furman on Nov. 19th marking the third meeting between the two programs since 2021. Niagara then comes to the Dedmon Center for the first time in program history on Nov. 22nd as the two squads meet up after last playing each other in Niagara Falls, N.Y. in 2023.

Back to the road, the Highlanders will compete in a Thanksgiving week tournament in Cleveland, Ohio hosted by Cleveland State. The tournament includes Radford, Cleveland State, St. Bonaventure and Valparaiso across Nov. 26th-29th.

Flipping the calendar to December, the Highlanders return to the Dedmon Center for three straight games. Radford will host Navy on Dec. 4th in another rematch from 2024-25 that saw both squads go into overtime competing in the first-ever collegiate women's basketball game at The Greenbrier.

Radford and Ohio are set to meet on Dec. 13th in the first meeting between the two squads since 2001. Closing out their home portion of the nonconference schedule, the Highlanders will host Concord on Dec. 15th.

Two more nonconference battles await the Highlanders on the road with both coming within the Commonwealth. A trip to Hampton awaits the Highlanders on Dec. 18th before returning to face New River Valley foe Virginia Tech on Dec. 21st for the third straight season.
