Three Highlanders Named to the 2026 Big South’s Midseason Watch List

Hall, a freshman hailing from Leesburg, has been one of the main attackers of the highlanders offensive so far this season. He has started all six games for the Highlanders playing in 450 minutes. So far he has amassed 15 shots with six of them being on target for a total percentage of .400%. Still looking for his first collegiate goal, Hall remains one of the exciting young playmakers in this Highlander offensive.
Zimbeva has served as one of the primary playmakers in the midfield for the Highlanders. On the field, he makes his presence known being involved in many different goal scoring opportunities for the Highlanders' offense. Starting in all six of the Highlanders games, Zimbeva has played a total of 413 minutes in the midfield. He scored a pivotal goal coming via penalty in a 2-1 win against James Madison, accompanied by an assist off a corner kick in the 3-0 Bob Jones victory.
Boreham stands as the anchor in the Highlanders' defense and is often wearing the captain's arm band for the Highlanders. He has started in all six games for the Highlanders solidifying the back line playing in all 540 possible minutes. Boreham has also helped the Highlanders to a perfect 2-0 start at home in Cupp Stadium. Boreham added one goal this year, coming from a corner kick in the final minutes of the Highlanders 2-1 victory against the James Madison Dukes.
The Highlanders begin Big South play at Cupp Stadium this upcoming Saturday, Sept. 19 against Winthrop. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. with the match featuring Youth Day, a temporary tattoo giveaway with the food truck Be Happy Acai also in stadium for fans to enjoy.
