Walk-on that made the team in an open tryout after playing for the New River C.C. club team ... Made his first collegiate appearance with a hitless ninth inning against Towson (March 4) ... Struck out four in a hitless, scoreless inning and two-thirds against NC State (March 8) ... Had three hitless relief innings in the first game at ETSU (March 22) ... Threw 2 1/3 scoreless innings in the first game of the VMI series (April 8) ... Produced the only scoreless appearance among five Radford pitchers against Virginia (April 19) ... Went five innings in his first collegiate start against Appalachian State, and left a 1-1 game after surrendering just six hits (April 26) ... retired nine of the first 10 batters he faced ... Started against Marshall, worked three innings in a game RU won (May 10) ... Went 2 1/3 emergency relief innings in the Big South Tournament against Coastal Carolina (May 25)
