2011 Highlights
Staff ace for the Highlanders in 2011 ... Second Team All-Big South selection ... Big South All-Tournament selection ... Matched a school record with nine wins, finishing third in the Big South ... Top 10 in the conference in innings pitched (95.1, 4th), strikeouts (72, 6th), opponent's batting average (.250, 10th) starts (15, T-2nd) ... No-decision in an opening day start against Army (Feb. 18) ... carried a no-hit bid into the sixth inning (5 1/3 innings), and retired 11 consecutive hitters at one point, including five straight strikeouts over the fourth and fifth innings ... Struck out five in 5 1/3 innings in a game one no-decision against Auburn (Feb. 25) ... Earned his first win of the season with 5 1/3 innings of work against Towson (March 4) ... Had his longest career outing, eight innings in a win over UNC Asheville (March 20), allowing one earned run on five hits ... Career-high seven strikeouts over six innings in a loss to Charleston Southern (April 3, G1) ...
