2011 Highlights
Staff ace for the Highlanders in 2011 ... Second Team All-Big South selection ... Big South All-Tournament selection ... Matched a school record with nine wins, finishing third in the Big South ... Top 10 in the conference in innings pitched (95.1, 4th), strikeouts (72, 6th), opponent's batting average (.250, 10th) starts (15, T-2nd) ... No-decision in an opening day start against Army (Feb. 18) ... carried a no-hit bid into the sixth inning (5 1/3 innings), and retired 11 consecutive hitters at one point, including five straight strikeouts over the fourth and fifth innings ... Struck out five in 5 1/3 innings in a game one no-decision against Auburn (Feb. 25) ... Earned his first win of the season with 5 1/3 innings of work against Towson (March 4) ... Picked up his second win in as many starts with seven scoreless innings in the series opener against Hartford (March 12) ... Earned his third win with 8 1/3 innings in the opener with Cornell (March 19) ... Had his fourth win in five starts and third-longest outing of the season, 8 IP, at Presbyterian (April 1) ... Threw the first pitch at new RU Baseball Stadium on April 8 - weather-shortened start ... Matched a career-best with 10 strikeouts in his second eight-inning start in three outings against Winthrop in the opener (April 15) ... Worked five innings of long relief in the second game of the CofC series (Feb. 20), striking out four ... Won his first career start, going 6 1/3 innings and allowed a run on seven hits, striking out two, against Saint Joe’s (Feb. 27) ... Had his longest career outing, eight innings in a win over UNC Asheville (March 20), allowing one earned run on five hits ... Career-high seven strikeouts over six innings in a loss to Charleston Southern (April 3, G1) ... Picked up his first win in nearly a month in the second game of the VMI series, fanning six in six innings ... Tossed the first complete game of his career with a 96-pitch effort against Presbyterian, striking out a career-high 10 while allowing a run on five hits (May 8)

35th round selection of the Texas Rangers out of Greenbrier Christian School ... Third player in Radford program history to be drafted in high school.
