2019-20 AS A SOPHOMORE
Played in all 29 games and started all at the power forward position…Scored her first basket as a Highlander at Vanderbilt to commence the season…Drained her first three-pointer vs. Gardner-Webb…Had several games where she was a perfect 100 percent from the floor, starting vs. Mount St. Mary’s (Md.) going 4-for-4…Notched a pair of double-doubles – vs. Gardner-Webb with 11 points and 13 rebounds as well as vs. Hampton with a career high 19 points and 10 rebounds…Concluded her debut season having played 720 minutes, averaging 24.8 points per game…Shot 46 percent from the floor and 62.1 percent from the free throw line…Grabbed 155 boards, averaging 5.3 per game…Had 19 assists…A total of 20 blocks…Tallied 22 steals…Scored 187 points, 6.4 per game.
Ended the season ranked in the top-20 in the Big South in rebounding, blocked shots, and offensive rebounds.
PREP / HIGH SCHOOL
Began at Lincoln Prep before enrolling at ASA College in Brooklyn, New York...While there, she averaged 15.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.5 steals per game for the Avengers, who won their regional championship.
Prior to joining ASA, Rainford was a member of the Canadian National Team in both 2015 and 2016...She was on the U16 Women's National Team that beat Brazil in overtime to win the nation's first-ever FIBA Americas age-group Championship.
Also a member of the Toronto Matrix club team, was a Second Team JUEL of Ontario (independent Provincial League) All-Star (2014 & 2017) and was named the Best Newcomer at the Rose Classic (2017)...She was also selected as the Say Yes To Success Scholastic Showcase NYC Most Valuable Player (2017) and was a Second Team Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association All-Star (2017).
