Tied for second among Big South freshmen in kills (221) en route to all-freshman team honors... Three-time Big South Freshman of the Week... Fourth on the team in kills, while her 2.91 kills per set were second... Cranked double-figure kills in nine of Radford's first 12 matches... Hit a season-high .652 with 15 kills in three-set win at The Citadel... Hammered a season-high 18 kills in 3-2 setback to DePaul... Registered a season-best eight blocks in 3-2 triumph over CSU Bakersfield.
HIGH SCHOOL / CLUB
The all-time kills leader in Virginia High School League history (all classifications), Watson rocketed 1,380 kills in her stellar career at nearby Auburn High School, surpassing Susie Murach of James Robinson (1,339)... Led the Eagles to the state title in 2012 and a record of 27-3, en route to capturing the school's first girl's team state championship... Three Rivers District Player of the Year, Region C Player of the Year, First-Team All-Group A, and First-Team All-Timesland.
