Highlanders Return to Peters Hall for 7 p.m. Contest with UNC Asheville Saturday

RADFORD, Va. -- Looking to string together four straight league victories for the first time in three years, Radford welcomes Big South foe UNC Asheville to Peters Hall Saturday evening for a 7 p.m. contest.

- The Highlanders are coming off back-to-back road victories against Presbyterian (1/3) and Coastal Carolina (1/5), marking the first time since the 2006 season that Radford has put together consecutive wins away from home.

- Against the Chanticleers Monday, the frontcourt duo of Joey Lynch-Flohr (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) and Art Parakhouski (Minsk, Belarus) combined to score 32 points and Chris McEachin (Norfolk, Va./Norview) added a season-high 14 off the bench. Parakhouski, who leads the league and ranks 14th nationally in rebounds per game, also pulled down a game-high 12 boards for his fourth straight double-double and league-leading eighth of the season. To go along with their balanced scoring attack, the Highlanders held Coastal Carolina to just 32.8 percent from the floor. 

- Parakhouski continues to pace three Radford players in double figures averaging 14.5 points per outing. Lynch-Flohr and Kenny Thomas (Richmond, Va./Highland Springs) are just behind the 6-11 center at 13.1 and 12.9, respectively.

- Radford is looking to win four consecutive league games for the first time since the 2005-06 campaign.

- The Highlanders are 4-3 at Peters Hall this season and just 11 days from returning to the Dedmon Center. 

- As a team, Radford leads the Big South in field-goal percentage defense (.408) and rebounding margin (+4.6). 

- UNC Asheville enters 7-8 overall and 3-1 in the conference after knocking off Gardner-Webb 86-76 in Boiling Springs, N.C., Wednesday evening. The Bulldogs placed six players in double figures led by Matt Dickey's season-high 18 points. 

- Reid Augst leads UNCA offensively with a clip of 14.8 per contest, which also ranks tied for ninth among conference scoring leaders. 

- In the last meeting, the Highlanders controlled the glass 50-33, including 16 rebounds from Eric Hall (Greensboro, N.C./Ben L. Smith) to defeat the eventual regular season champs 62-53. To go along with its work on the boards, Radford held UNCA to just 31.3 percent from the floor.

- Radford will conclude its brief homestand with a 7 p.m. tip against Charleston Southern Monday.
