Also competing for the Highlanders were Maggie Watts (Paris, Ky. / Paris) and Amy McCollum (Pittsford, N.Y. / Pittsford), who finished tied for 57th and 66th, respectively.

College of Charleston (291-293=584) held on to its overnight lead to claim the team title by eight strokes over Western Carolina.

Despite shooting a second-round total four strokes higher than her opening round, Lucia Fernandez (Jacksonville State) took home individual medalists with a 36-hole total of even-par 144 (70-74).

Along with setting a single-round scoring record, the Highlanders recorded a pair of Top-5 finishes, including a second-place showing at the Draper Valley Intercollegiate this fall.

Radford will enjoy a four-month break before teeing off its 2010 spring slate at the Low Country Intercollegiate March 13-14 in Hilton Head, S.C.
