FINAL RESULTS

WAYNESVILLE, N.C. – Due to heavy rain and wet conditions in the western part of North Carolina, Sunday's final round of the Great Smokies Intercollegiate was canceled. Final results will be based on Saturday's opening round.

Highlighted by rounds of 73 from Megan Leineweber (Salisbury, Md. / Parkside) and Hannah Coles (Birmingham, England / The Coleshill School), the Radford women's golf team finished in fourth place out of 24 teams with an 18-hole total of 299.

The annual event hosted by Western Carolina was played on the Par 72, 5922-yard Waynesville Golf Resort layout.

Through two fall events, the Highlanders have finished second and fourth.

Radford will enjoy a week break before returning to the course Sept. 27-29 at the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic.
